Hi friends! I'm Halima Hudson, a writer, director and lover of story. I believe that a good story is relentless and elegant in crossing the lines that divide us. A good story welcomes, accepts and challenges.  A good story uplifts, empowers and connects us all. We follow good stories. We re-enact good stories. We sit on the edge of our seats, with bated breath completely enraptured by a good story. Coming face-to-face with a good story changes you, changes the world.  

I've been in the film industry for over 17 years. I've created work in both live action and animation, most notably writing on  Iwájú, a limited animated series produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios, in conjunction with Kugali Media. I've been published, written for the stage and directed a live action short film entitled "Dafuq!"  

Making movies, much like living life, is all about love and collaboration.  Though I want to change the world with stories that resonate and are shared around the world, I truly believe it wouldn't matter if I'm not creating space to support, uplift and empower others. It's how I live my life. It's how I tell my stories. And, I love to tell stories. Ahem, good stories!
